How the Wealthsimple Referral Bonus Works

1. Start through a Wealthsimple referral link or apply the referral code within the permitted referral window.
2. Open an eligible Wealthsimple account as a new client and primary account holder.
3. Receive at least $100 of qualifying funding from outside Wealthsimple within 30 days of establishing the referral relationship.
4. Keep a Wealthsimple Chequing account open and in good standing so the $25 bonus can be deposited.

Wealthsimple Referral Bonus Requirements

• The referred person must be an eligible new Wealthsimple client and a Canadian resident who has reached the age of majority in their province or territory.
• At least $100 of qualifying external deposits or transfers must be received within the 30-day funding period.
• Internal Wealthsimple transfers, peer-to-peer transfers, and Wealthsimple-issued bonuses or promotional credits do not count toward the $100 qualifying funding requirement.

Things to Know

• The current terms say the $25 bonus is deposited to the client's Wealthsimple Chequing account within 24 hours after successful qualifying funding is completed and processed.
• The $25 bonus has a 180-day hold period. Wealthsimple may recover the bonus if it is withdrawn during that period.
• The referral program can change, and other Wealthsimple promotions may have separate combinability rules.
